The Hôtel functions room was originally used as the town's community hall for all local gatherings and Tea Dances. Not only does it have a huge seating capacity with a built-in stage and power points, but it transforms into an equally exciting party venue, with its unique decor of original artwork and murals set off by the original blue painted sky ceiling.
Regular visiting bands from A Day in the Life (a Beatles tribute band from Paris) to Dr. Funk (a unique, fun, jazz- funk mobile band from Lille) ensure that there is never a dull moment, while the Hôtel de Frances' powerful sound system and 
huge music collection means that most music requests can be accommodated and frequently are - with late night parties developing most weekends.
The Hôtel de France also has a large collection of hats, masks, and theatrical clothing which also tend to help the party.
